Speech & Audiology Services
Audiology
Hearing
impairment can limit social interaction with family and friends and is
the leading communication problem experienced by older adults. Hearing
loss means everyday activities become difficult. Often, patients are
unaware of the causes of hearing loss and may presume nothing can be
done for them.
Children and younger adults may also experience hearing issues that adversely affect their ability to communicate.
At
Spokane Ear, Nose, and Throat and Surgery Center, our team of licensed
audiologists use state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and treatment
options for patients of ages.
Speech / Language Pathology
Speech disorders may arise as a result of accident, disease or developmental issues.
Our Speech-Language therapists work with the patient's physician to
provide comprehensive rehabilitative treatment for both neurological
and general speech and language disorders.
A
specialized and goal-oriented treatment program is designed for every
patient, using the latest evaluation and treatment intervention
techniques.
At Spokane ENT, the
Audiology and Speech Therapy departments work together to understand
the emotional and individual needs of each client and provide
information and resources along with testing and diagnostic services.
